Organised by Mèhèza Kalibani in cooperation with the Littérature et Identités Germano-Africaines research group, the listening and discussion workshop "Les voix de nos aieux" (The voices of our ancestors) was held on 13 January 2022 in the large lecture room of the Lomé University Library.

Construit entre 1898 et 1905, le Palais de Lomé, autrefois Palais des Gouverneurs a connu toute une odysée au cours des 100 dernières années. Il a servi de batiment administratif sous tous les régimes de gouvernance du Togo: les puissances colonials allemande et française puis le Togo indépendant depuis 1960.
